genealogy and using my writing skills to tell stories about the folks I find. Even found an idea for an article I will submit to a national newsletter for the national Vick family. Wonder if I can use that as a non-fiction writing on my resume?
Not part of either project. About how a Confederate widow struggled for 7 years after her husband died to get enough money for a bare existence. She supported an infirmed daughter during that time. Even the county pension examiners stepped up to help by writing to the state board on her behalf. I see her burning the furniture bit by bit!
I've made a calendar for my cleaning projects. Monday was the pantry, (I pitched stuff that died in 2017, I kid you not). Tuesday was the fridge inside and out. (The booze bottles on to of the fridge got a good cleaning inside and out too.) Today under the master bathroom sink. (Ye gads, the things I found lurking there. Who in their right mind home perms anymore???) Tomorrow I venture under the kitchen sink. (Tonight I swear I heard the sound of war drums seeping out between the sink doors. If you don't hear from me in a few days please send an armed search party.)
I'm going to try this bread recipe. My go-to bread recipe uses gluten, which I happen to be out of (and can't find anywhere right now). My son and I made yeast rolls last night so that we could have some bread for sandwiches. I don't think I will ever take being able to go to the grocery store (and have it be full of needed supplies) for granted again.
I had to go to Target yesterday. I was so happy to be able to buy TP and Flour. It occurred to me that I was happy to have anything--brand didn't matter and I couldn't be choosy. It's sort of refreshing not to constantly have decision fatigue or the urge to optimize every choice.
Jay, how is puppy?
He’s doing great. Only one round of chemo to go! He’s handling it like a champ.

That's a great idea. Is it part of the project we discussed?

This is a fantastic idea! Good luck. :)
