Promises and Payoffs in Fiction

Introduction

One of my professional goals for the last several years has to been to publish a series of writing craft books. Over the last 20 years, I’ve spent a great deal of time teaching workshops, mentoring new writers, and, of course, writing my own books so I have several topics I’d like to write books about to help other writers write great books.

This month, I’ll start sharing chapters from the first planned book, Promises and Payoffs in Fiction, to paid subscribers. My goal is to post a chapter a week until the book is done. Once I publish the book, all of paid subscribers will receive a signed, free copy of the finished book.

Promises and Payoffs in Fiction is my most-requested workshop to present and I’ve been developing the materials for it for about 10 years. I’m excited to share these concepts with you and hope it helps you on your own fiction writing journey.
